Are you feeling stuck by food and weight? Are you looking for someone who is driven to help those heal their relationship with food and exercise? Alison is a compassionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who relates to clients through previous work and life experiences to provide a safe and nurturing environment while helping clients rebuild a positive relationship with themselves and food.

Alison works with all ages with varying backgrounds and all eating disorders. She supports clients by individualizing meal plans, completing exposure sessions, providing nutrition education, and exploring the relationship with movement. Alison was driven to the eating disorder field after her experiences as a competitive gymnast and division 1 collegiate athlete. Alison previously practiced in Northern VA at an eating disorder facility with Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs working with individuals on a one on one basis and in group settings.

More About Alison

Alison received her Bachelor’s and Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Foods with a concentration in Dietetics from Appalachian State University. She completed her dietetic internship in Northern VA through Appalachian State University. She is currently working towards her Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) certification and practices within the Intuitive Eating and Health At Every Size principles.
