These conditions often result from an overall inflammatory response.  When our bodies are inflamed, we hurt.  The pain may be something you have noticed like migraines, joint pain, or chronic pain; however, it could also be chronic sinus infections, inability to sleep, anxiety, depression, and difficulty getting pregnant.

If you are eating things your immune system reacts to- you will have an inflammatory response.

These conditions could be the result of a food sensitivity. This is a type of immune reaction to a certain food or chemical. This happens when your immune cells release inflammatory markers called mediators. The chemical mediators cause inflammation and pain. The symptoms may not show up immediately like they do with a food allergy so it can be difficult to identify, therefore testing is helpful.

How does this work?

We offer a variety of tests that can help us create a very individualized plan for you.  Many times, clients choose to have the MRT testing done at the same time as Micronutrient testing.  Why would we do this?  If we can create a plan based on your unique needs, why would you want to try something that everyone else is doing?  This is one of the many reasons that typical approaches do not work.  We need to create individualized, lifestyle plans- not diets.

We will conduct an assessment and determine what approach is best for you.  If this includes the MRT test, we can get started right away.  The Mediator Release Test is the gold standard for food sensitivity with an accuracy of 95%. The test will measure the amount of mediators that are released after being exposed to an antigen.

After receiving your results, we will develop a customized eating plan designed to reduced inflammation and symptoms you have been experiencing. This eating plan will be implemented in 60-90 days. We will gradually add in foods according to the way in which you reacted to them.

If you had other tests, we will make recommendations for an overall plan.  If you have any questions, please contact us.

If necessary, you will complete the Mediator Release Test (MRT), the gold standard in food sensitivity testing with the highest degree of accuracy (~95%). MRT is a blood test which examines your reaction to 170 different foods and food chemicals. The test works by measuring the amount of mediators (inflammatory compounds) that are released after exposure to food antigens.

The benefits of LEAP and MRT® go far beyond food sensitivity related health problems; however, common conditions typically achieve rapid, lasting relief in as little as 5-7 days:
