Mike Ottone, LISW, CP, CPM

Mike Ottone, LISW CP, CPM joined New Hope Counseling and Wellness Center when therapy services were added. Mike is currently a clinical instructor at the University of South Carolina. In his role at USC, he develops trainings for students, field instructors, field placements and serves as a field liaison for more than 40 MSW students each year. Previously, Mike gained extensive clinical experience serving as the program manager for the Department of Juvenile Justice where he created and implemented Alcohol and Other Drug treatment services. Mike developed skills for the oversight of administrative policy and action, consultation of supervision of client services, and outcome evaluation while serving as the lead clinician for outpatient counseling at Newberry County Memorial Services.

The guiding principle of New Hope Counseling and Wellness Center, LLC is to empower and provide individuals and families with the skills they need to be nourished, healed, and restored in order to pursue a life filled with joy and hope. I offer faith-based counseling services for those wishing to include their spirituality as a component in their sessions. While I offer faith-based counseling as one method to achieve this mission, I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and professional environment for everyone.
